Ntshembeni is the clan from the Nxumalo`s but the surname changed to Ntshembeni during the Wars of Shaka Zulu so the Clan ran from Kwazulu Natal to Mozambique in Maputo 1899 and they changed from Nxumalo to Ntshembeni so that they can belong,After the wars the Ntshembeni Clan went back to KwaZulu Natal 1941. Some of the Ntshembeni clan are originaly from Khumalo some are from Nxumalo they all came from Kwazulu Natal but due to wars of Shaka Zulu they changed their surnames when they arrived in Mozambique.
