Guys is there any difference between Mlilo, Mabaso, Mabasa, Gasa, Chauke. Cause these come in as our clan praises also. Pliz help mangilahleka.

We are the children of Mhlengwe not Mntungwa.we are the original Bhele of Lenge boChauke,Mabasa, Mamba,Sonene,Madziva-ndlela,Bhengu,Luthuli,Shitanga,Malandela,Vezi, etc.Mntungwa(Mbulazi) and Mhlengwe(Ntuli) have different fathers.

Mabasa and Mabaso(Mlilo) are Hlengwe/Hlenga and are not related to Mabaso(Mntungwa) and khumalo.Mlilos are one with chauke one of the standing and largest Tsonga group.our forefather is Shinyori the father of Bhangwane/Bhungane who sired Matsena and Madziva-ndlela.Matsena is ndabezitha(royal) original Chauke/Mlilo as he gave birth to Vizuwana(hlanguza) and Mangule(mabasa/mabaso).Madziva-ndlela gave birth to Shimundani ,Shigombe.others are Mashisa,Singwazi, Xikovele,Qhashi,Makhahlele etc.

After a lot of searching I did finally arrived into a conclusion that Mabasa = Mabaso. The surname permutated together with a lot of other surnames.

I guess what u saying above is understandable but what u failed to seem to get is there is no division in between these surnames come from the same parent or family tree. If u check the Khumalo they have Mahlangu whose totem is a "gazelle" inhlangu", resulting in Hlanguza that u referring to above.
